Nico Rosberg will start on pole position for tomorrow’s Brazilian Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver clocked a fastest lap of 1:10.023, just edging out teammate Lewis Hamilton’s best effort of 1:10.056. ‘It’s the perfect job only if it works out tomorrow’, Rosberg said after the qualifying. ‘Up to now it has been going well. I’m in the best place to be for tomorrow, but I need to make it happen in the race’.
The German driver will start on pole position for the tenth time this season as he attempts to narrow the gap on Hamilton, who sits atop the driver’s championship on 316 points, ahead of Rosberg on 292.
