Kerry great believes Brennan words have handed Donegal big advantage

Writing for The Irish Times, Kerry legend Darragh Ó Sé has given his opinion on Brennan's failed request.

He argued that it was clear Parnell Park was never a serious option, given the loss in revenue it would have caused due to its small size of 7,300 compared to Croker's 82,000.

With the home of the GAA always seen as a massive advantage for Dublin, he believes a request to move out of there is an admission of weakness; and revealing that Dublin do not gain from playing in the Drumcondra venue anymore.

Ó Sé wrote: "Dublin were always going to play Donegal in Croke Park.

"It’s basically telling the rest of the country that Dublin have lost one of the things that was always an advantage to them.

" Imagine Jim McGuinness in team meetings this week and in the dressing room. The Dubs don’t fancy this, boys. They don’t want to be here."
