The Cork hurling team have hired Cian O'Neill as their head coach for the upcoming season.
O'Neill stepped down from the Kerry football management team after their All-Ireland final defeat to Mayo.
It will be his first first hurling role since working as the strength and conditioning coach for the 2010 All-Ireland winning Tipperary side.
This is just the latest change to Cork's backroom staff, with performance coach Gerry Hussey stepping down, as well as selector Ronan Curran.
