Watch: Remember this unbelievable finish to an F1 season in Brazil

Lewis Hamilton returns to the scene of his finest hour

The Formula One title could be decided in Brazil today and where better for Lewis Hamilton to all but seal a second drivers’ crown than at the circuit where he claimed his first in thrilling style.

The dust bowl that is known as the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace  in Sao Paulo is loved by motorsport fans across the world for its difficulty, as well as its notoriety for testing drivers to the very limit when the heavens open.

Hamilton leads Nico Rosberg by 24 points ahead of the penultimate race of the season, but with controversial double points on offer for the final race in Abu Dhabi, he could win today and still not lift the title. Even if he wins the race and Rosberg fails to finish, the subsequent 49-point gap would still be less than the 50 points on offer to the winner of the finale.

The Englishman obviously has a grá for the track having claimed the 2008 title in audacious circumstances, just pipping home favourite Felipe Massa in a dramatic last lap finish.

He overtook Timo Glock to secure fifth and claim enough points to deny Massa his first ever world title on the final corner before the chequered flag.

It remains one of our top F1 moments of the last 10 years.
