But we think that Yoel Romero was brought to tears for an entirely different reason as he met the media ahead of his UFC 194 title eliminator.
The Cuban middleweight broke down as he explained all that he had given to make it to where he is today, wiping away tears in front of a media scrum.
Romero will likely be rewarded with a shot at the middleweight title with a victory over Jacare on Saturday night and it’s clear for all to see that the former Olympian is taking the task seriously.
