“Fighting out California by way of Dublin, Ireland.”
You’d have sworn that Urijah Faber was one of our own as he made the walk to the octagon at UFC 194.
The bantamweight got the biggest pop of the prelims as he took on a very game Frankie Saenz before the main card got underway.

Faber was 1/6 favourite to get the better of Saenz but experienced some trouble early on and couldn’t even get the finish when a knockout victory looked inevitable early on in the second round.
But the veteran dug deep and earned the nod on all judges’ scorecards by intelligently chaining his wrestling together in the final round to secure a unanimous decision victory.
And as Bruce Buffer read out the cards, the loudest cheer of the night (up to that point) arrived.

Fans in here love Faber. The TUF series endeared him to the Irish fans. Would have been a brutal week for TAM if he lost #UFC194
