Joe Rogan is hard as nails, simple as.
But even he gets a little emotional when graced with the presence of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Rousey and head coach Edmond Tarverdyan joined Rogan on the most recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, where they discussed topics such as a potential match-up with Cyborg, Rousey’s Judo history and her knockout victory over Bethe Correia in Brazil.
It was the latter subject that got Rogan all choked up as he explained how much it meant for him to see a female reach the pinnacle of sport as he has two daughters.
While there was no actual sobbing because Rogan’s a hard nut, you could see that the UFC colour commentator was visibly moved as he explained how much he appreciated the momentous occasion while conducting the post-fight interview with Rousey after the main event of UFC 190.
We couldn’t be bigger fans of the Fear Factoring, spinning back kicking, stand-up comedying Rogan so you won’t hear a bad word spoken about him here.
You be you Joe. YOU BE YOU.
