While the meeting of two of the most popular fighters in the UFC seems rather far fetched right now, it's not the craziest notion that we could see The Notorious v Cowboy in the next 12 months. McGregor is making no secret of his desire to move up to lightweight after his upcoming featherweight unification bout with Jose Aldo and Cerrone could well be 155 lb champ by then as he meets Rafael dos Anjos in December. There's no love lost between McGregor and Cerrone and the animosity came to the fore during last night's UFC Go Big launch. "Conor has no right coming up to [155]. There’s no way," Cerrone said. "He’s not gonna stand a chance. We’re too big for him; we’re too strong. So you can take your little English ass and get on." But the Dubliner quickly hit back. "You’re too slow and too stiff," he said. "You’re as stiff as a board. I’d snap you in half. "And that’s it. I see stiffness when I look in that 155-pound division.
