Nick Diaz stayed on in Las Vegas after his time in the city supporting younger brother Nate at UFC 202. He may be regretting that decision now.
The UFC fighter, it has been reported, was set upon by three men at Hyde nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A representative from the club told TMZ that Diaz was attacked after accidentally bumping into a patron when he entered a toilet just outside the venue [in the Bellagio]. His apology was not accepted, harsh words were exchanged and Diaz took some blows.
He also fought back. The flurry spilled out from the toilets onto the casino floor of the Bellagio. Chairs were apparently used as weapons during the melee before security removed the offenders. Diaz remained inside the casino. Diaz comments to TMZ suggest he was not too worse for wear:
“I didn’t start it. They didn’t know who I was… They got the worst of it.”
Diaz was barred from attending UFC 202 at the T-Mobile Arena, last Saturday, for his part in a bottle throwing fracas during the final press conference before Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor were scheduled to meet.
Nick Diaz has not fought since his ban, for cannabis use, ended last month. UFC commentator Joe Rogan has stated his wish that the elder Diaz take on McGregor next.
