Luckily for the UFC’s heavyweights, Hafthór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson is about 150 lbs too heavy to make the 265 lbs weight limit.
The Icelandic actor and weight-lifter, famous for playing The Mountain in HBO’s Game of Thrones, visited Dublin’s SBG on Friday to train with the likes of UFC fighters Conor McGregor and Gunnar Nelson.
Overnight McGregor shared this picture of the two men squaring up for a bare knuckle fight, with McGregor (understandably) stating he had never fought a man that big before.
We wonder who took the initiative: did the Mountain come to McGregor, or did McGregor have to go to the mountain?
Today I had a bare-knuckle fight off a 180kg monster called 'The Mountain'

McGregor and Nelson aren’t exactly small men but they look like absolute children stood next to the 6 ft 9 in behemoth.

We don’t think there’s any need to equip a monster like this with any more tools to kill a man.
SBG head coach John Kavanagh claims to have known nothing about the David and Goliath match-up but we can’t quite imagine this man mountain being sneaked into any gym.
I turn my back for 5 seconds and this goes down!? 😲 https://t.co/l7lePoHfro
