The news was confirmed by the UFC president as plans for the tour take shape.
Dana White says the world tour to promote Conor McGregor’s professional boxing debut against unbeaten legend Floyd Mayweather will kick off within the next fortnight.
The tour will take in several cities in America, Europe and there has been talk of a stop-off in Asia.
White spoke with MMA Junkie this week and offered up a few more details on the tour, and fight. Unfortunately for Irish fight fans, they will have to travel if they want to see the two men face off before the August 26 bout.
Well played by the Mayweather camp but what a pain https://t.co/v8iSYuUHJr

There will be no trip to Ireland on the tour but the main European stop is not too far away. White said:
“We’re putting the world tour together now and we’re actually heading out [on it] in a couple of weeks. How bat-shit f**king crazy do you think that is going to be… We’ve got quite a few stops. It’s going to be fun, man.”
John Morgan then asked the question most Irish fans had on their mind.
Morgan: Will Dublin be on the tour?
White: London.
Morgan: More media and stuff in London?
White: Yep.
Confirmation, then, but we imagine plenty would be up for a jaunt to London to check out both men as they come head-to-head.
We’ll update with further tour details when we have them.
