Many had wondered how Conor McGregor would find the rehydration process in light of the new IV ban.
For the first time in his career, an IV wasn’t available to “The Notorious” due to the ban that came into effect in October.
Last night, McGregor weighed in at the featherweight limit of 145 lbs for his unification bout with Jose Aldo and McGregor’s long-time rival Diego Sanchez has claimed that the Irishman hasn’t struggled at all to put the weight back on.
Sanchez, who himself endures a hefty weight cut, has stated that McGregor weighed a massive 174 lbs just 24 hours after stepping on the scales.

It’s generally known that McGregor walks around at 170 lbs but it’s a bit crazy to think of him putting on 29 lbs in just a day.
How Sanchez garnered that knowledge is unknown and it’s far from fact but, if true, this is pretty insane.
