Dustin Johnson seems like a really likeable guy but that didn’t stop the internet from crushing him for the final green three-putt that handed victory at the US Open to rival Jordan Spieth
Given we get the shakes standing over a three-footer worth mere bragging rights at our local nine-hole course, we can only imagine the pressure of a short putt when a major championship is on the line, so all our sympathies this morning are with poor Dustin Johnson.
The American needed to birdie the final hole at Chambers Bay last night to force a play-off with Jordan Spieth, but a stunning second shot to the par-five green left him this 12-footer to win the tournament.
At least one professional golfer called the shot perfectly…
