Shane Lowry seen singing anti-Westmeath chant during Irish Open celebrations

All in good fun!

The Clara man was seen having the craic with the likes of former Ireland rugby player Peter O'Mahony, as well as singing 'The Green and Red of Mayo' with some of the All-Ireland SFC winners.

He was also videoed singing a different type of GAA song in a pub, with the trophy in hand.

Lowry can be seen shushing the crowd before starting a chant slagging off Offaly's big rivals, Westmeath, with the lyrics 'You'll never see a Sam in Mullingar'.

All in good spirits, of course.

After the win, Lowry spoke about the nerves before the final round and the doubts he and others had.

He said: "Something like this feels as big as it gets for me. The nerves in my stomach this morning.

"I couldn't be happier. I don't seem to do it very often but when I do it seems to be pretty cool. So that was unbelievable today.

"The sleep that I had last night felt very like Portrush in 2019 and it was just one of those where I knew if I went out and didn't get the job done today that it would be very hard over the next few days.

"Off the course life is great, but on the course I've had a few kind of mishaps. It's been well documented and I probably have a lot of doubters out there.

"And you doubt yourself at times but I went out this morning and I went out to win this tournament. That's what I did. I'm so happy."
