There are few things more sickening in life than getting stuck with an awful seat at a game you really want to watch.
Perhaps the worst kind of terrible seats are the ones that have that come with the gut-churning tag, ‘obstructed view’.
It doesn’t matter if you’re only missing a pixel of the game because of a rogue barrier, that one pixel is going to annoy you for the entirety of the game.
So imagine how pissed off you would be if you were a Liverpool fan and you got this seat at Anfield?

…Or if you were a Newcastle fan and this was your view of the Magpies?

Or if you supported Queens Park Rangers (we’re told they actually have supporters) and you spent your hard earned moolah on this monstrosity?

However, as bad as those seats are, at the very least, you can see some of the pitch.
That’s not the case for the worst seat in any GAA ground in Ireland, which you will find in Dr Cullen Park in Carlow.
Wexford GAA alerted the world to this pathetic excuse for a place to rest your bum.
In other news, there's still ONE seat left in the stand here in Dr Cullen Park. You may want to be on the svelte side however! pic.twitter.com/xIij3vxDWc

Just in case you wanted to see a POV shot from the seat itself, we put our investigating hat on and actually traveled (just go with it) that one road that leads to Carlow in order to see for ourselves.
Here’s what we saw.
