Just because you’re not playing in front of a crowd, doesn’t mean you can’t do it in style.
First and foremost, a jersey must be comfortable and functional, but after that, why bother making it boring?
If the players are going to have to wear it every week, they may as well be donning something that’s actually pleasant to look at.
Also, half the point of having a training kit for intercounty teams is for it to be nice enough one that supporters to actually wear.

Fortunately for Waterford, their new training top is absolutely perfect.
Dare we say, the new design from Azzurri Sport may be even nicer than their actual home jersey.
Apologies if that counts as blasphemy in the Deise, but come on, this is a thing of beauty. Blue fading into navy, it doesn’t sound like it work that well, but it really does.
