Dublin scored the type of goal you don’t see too often during their Leinster Minor Hurling Championship loss to Wexford on Saturday.
The Blues may have lost the game 0-21 to 1-14 after extra time on Saturday afternoon, but the biggest talking point of the game was an absolutely sensational goal scored by super sub Ronan Hayes.
After taking possession of a high ball at the edge of the square, Hayes was smothered by defenders who tried their utmost to make sure the forward didn’t get a shot off. However, he managed to break free just long enough to throw the ball up and smash it into the back of the net with a leaping kick as a Wexford back tried to block it down with his hurl.
This has to be one of the most remarkable goals witnessed in Innovate Wexford Park! Dublin goal from today's MHC pic.twitter.com/W72O6cIUKm
