An injury time salvo, led by the glorious left foot of Peter Harte, guided Mickey Harte and his troops to their first provincial success for six seasons after seeing off Donegal in the end, 0-13 to 0-11.
It sparked wild scenes of celebrations as the crowd spilled onto the pitch and Clones was painted white and red once more.
When the dust had settled on St. Tiernach’s Park though, the squad were still in sky high form.
In a video posted by Rory’s Stories to Facebook, the players are seen dancing and chanting in pure euphoria in the changing rooms after the game until Mickey Harte arrives with the Anglo-Celt Cup and he is mobbed by the team.
