VIDEO: Streaker runs right through Croke Park… no-one stops playing

We're going streaking...

We’re going streaking…

The second half of the Leinster final was a non-event – as most Leinster finals turn out to be.

Westmeath gave Dublin a right game of it… for 35 minutes. Then Jim Gavin’s men came out almost insulted that someone would hold them to a point in the first half.

So they ran over the top of them mercilessly in the second period to clinch an 11th provincial title in 12 years.

The contest was over not long after the break so you can excuse the crowd for getting more excited when a streaker took off running the length of the pitch.

Incredibly though, as he ran past the attacking Westmeath players and retreating Dubliners, no-one stopped the action and the poor lad had to half his run to turn around and roar for attention.

In the end, he politely walks off with the aid of a steward’s bib to cover up.
