Video: Slaughtneil’s unreal journey to the AIB GAA All-Ireland Club semi finals is worth a watch

Next stop: Portlaoise.

Derry champions Slaughtneil’s journey has not only been a novel one, but it has been classically dramatic.

Mickey Moran’s side clinched the county title for just the second time back in October and they haven’t looked back. Now, on February 15, they head for Laois to pit their wits with Kerry’s finest, Austin Stacks, in the AIB GAA All-Ireland club semi final.

In the build-up, the south Derry club have produced a cracking video that highlights their trek to date.

From the last-minute goal that clinched victory over then-Ulster champions Ballinderry in the Derry final, to Sammy Bradley’s green flag against Clontibret, Cormac O’Doherty’s heroics and Patsy Bradley and Paudie McGuigan lording the air, Slaughtneil have the fever ahead of their next outing and they go confidently in search of a place in their first All-Ireland final.
