“None of your fancy outside of the boot stuff this weekend, Mulligan.”
One way to stop Leitrim: stop Emlyn Mulligan.
The Leitrim sharpshooter has been kidnapped by Rossies and they say he won’t be freed until Sunday evening.
The deadly forward returned this season after a year away and he’s been up to his usual old tricks, terrorising defenders and splitting posts for the craic.
And, so, after a very nervy trip to New York, Roscommon are taking no chances this Sunday in Carrick-On-Shannon and have resorted to kidnapping Emlyn Mulligan ahead of the Connacht championship clash, just to make sure he doesn’t cause them any trouble.
In a brilliant skit by EJ Menswear, the Leitrim attacker is tied up in the back of a van and locked into a room by masked men donning the rival county jersey.
All a bit of banter 👍🏻 @SportsJOEdotie @PaddyMcKenna https://t.co/pPmwRjqFjw

“You won’t be getting out until Sunday evening,” they vow.
That’s one way of stopping him anyway.
