VIDEO: Michael Murphy’s accuracy from the sideline is laughable at this stage

Conan Doherty

Is there anything this man can’t do?

Luke Connolly, the bar has been set.

The Cork man stole our hearts on Sunday with a delicious placed ball from the ground right out beside the sideline. Michael Murphy? Well he just kicks balls from the sideline for fun. From tighter angles too.

The Donegal skipper did his own Maurice Fitzgerald impression two seasons ago against Derry up in Celtic Park.

He hasn’t lost that touch for 2016.

A different Ulster team, a different ground, a different side of the pitch and a different side of his boot, Murphy had the Down contingent picking their jaws off the floor as he curled over from the tightest of angles on the left hand side.

Donegal won 3-15 to 0-7. Michael Murphy won the day. Again.
