This is the closest thing to a Gaelic football golazo that you’re likely to see.
Ballymacnab saw off Armagh Harps 1-8 to 1-2 to claim the Senior Reserve Championship on Saturday, and I think it’s safe to assume that the victors had the pick of the goals.
The brilliantly-named 18-year-old Stephen King grabbed the goal for Ballymacnab with a thunderous effort that crashed in off the post. King caught a high pass but it slipped out of his hands as he was bearing down on goal.
With defenders closing him down, King decided to have a crack off the ground and drilled the ball into the back of the net, off the upright.
What makes this video even better is the umpire who gives the goal is actually Stephen’s father, Liam.
What about this goal by @skingo96 to win the Senior Reserve Chship Final? #Spectacular! @SportsJOEdotie pic.twitter.com/7vmXl3oXga
