There’s always one.
A GAA punter created a superb 77/1 shot accumulator on Sunday and he made it look like he was stealing money from the bookmakers.
10 teams, nine of them odds-on favourites, came together to create a long shot but, in theory, he could be forgiven for already counting his money once the hairiest moment of the Armagh final was over with.
Maghery was in the bet to win their first ever senior county title and, without the benefit of hindsight, they’d have been the only ones you would really have worried about. Then hindsight comes along and it bites you in the arse.

He lost his bet in the last second by a team who were two points down and a team who were the longest shot of the whole slip.
But you’d nearly be happy to lose a 77/1 bet to see this bit of magic over and over again. Right?
The best ever climax to a club championship final? https://t.co/zNOCDYSx5C #Laois #Stradbally #GAA
