Waterford senior hurling championship
The 2013 champions Passage were sensationally knocked out of the championship over the weekend after losing to 1-12 to 1-10 to old rivals Ballyduff Upper.
Passage’s unbeaten run in this year’s championship came to a shuddering halt as the Ballyduff side led at the break by 1-8 to 0-7, the goal coming from Andrew Casey.
There was also a shock in the other quarter-final as Dungarvan conceded two goals in the space of a minute to lose to Tallow by 3-13 to 0-18.
The game looked set for a Dungarvan win as they led by four heading towards the final three minutes until Ryan Grey wrote his name into the history books by raising two green flags in three minutes to sail through to the last four and set up a clash with the champions in the last four.
Elsewhere, Ballygunner were too strong Mount Sion as they recorded a 2-12 to 0-12 win on Saturday, and they will now meet a Fourmilewater side in the semis as they secured a five-point win over Roanmore, 1-17 to 1-12, with Conor Gleeson grabbing 0-5.
Clare senior hurling championship
Sixmilebridge will have to wait a week to find out their opponents in the Clare county hurling final after a thrilling weekend of action in Cusack Park.
Saturday night saw Clonlara and Kilmaley serve up a thrilling draw as Domhnall O’Donovan played hero once again, his late point rescuing Clonlara from a 0-20 to 3-10 deficit entering added time.
The game is set to be replayed next week, with Sixmilebridge enjoying a two-week break ahead of the county final after their 3-21 to 3-13 win over Crusheen.
The 2013 champions led by 2-12 to 1-5 and despite a strong second-half push from the north Clare side, the ‘Bridge held on for the win as Niall Gilligan top scored with 0-7.
Limerick senior hurling championship
Patrickswell will need to wait to find out their county semi-final opponents after Adare and Ahane drew their last-eight clash.
Ahane have free-taker John Meskell to thank for their second chance after his late scores made it 0-17 apiece after the teams had been deadlocked at the short whistle on 0-10 each.
It was much easier for the defending Munster champions Kilmallock as they beat Doon by 1-14 to 0-15 to reach the last four once again. Ger O’Loughlin’s side led 0-9 to 0-6 at the break and will now face Na Piarsaigh in the semi-finals.
Kilkenny senior hurling championship
Henry Shefflin grabbed 0-10 for the All-Ireland Champions Ballyhale Shamrocks as they cruised into the county quarter-finals with a 0-20 to 0-18 win over James Stephens.
Danesfort and Dicksboro will have to meet again after they drew their opening round clash, with Paddy Hogan the hero.
His last-gasp goal forced a replay on a 2-17 to 1-20 scoreline despite Danesfort having led at half-time by 1-9 to 0-7.
Erins Own beat St Martins by 0-16 to 0-12 to move into the last eight while Mullinavat are also into the next stage after a massive win over former county finalists Carrickshock by 2-16 to 1-13.
The draws for the next stage of the hurling championship are due to be made tonight (Monday).

Galway senior hurling championship
Champions Gort secured a big win in the Galway championship with a 1-15 to 1-12 win over Clarinbridge at the weekend, while Athenry secured a key win over Ardrahan by 1-16 to 0-12.
Loughrea were too strong for Cappataggle as they recorded a 1-19 to 2-13 victory, while Liam Mellows proved too strong for Tommy Larkins by 1-15 to 0-13.
Craughwell beat Castlegar by 2-16 to 2-13, Kilnadeema/Leitrim beat Carnmore by 1-23 to 1-15 and Sarsfields beat Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry by 4-14 to 3-16, while Turloughmore secured a first championship win by beating Killimirdaly by 2-15 to 0-11.
St Thomas’ beat Mullagh by 1-16 to 0-12.
Derry senior hurling championship
The county final saw one of the most lopsided results of the weekend as Slaughtneil secured a third title in-a-row with a 5-26 to 1-5 over Swatragh.
Their half-time lead was 3-18 to 0-3.

Coleraine beat Kilrea to reach the county semi-finals with a 2-8 to 0-9 win. There are two games tonight (Monday) as Ballinderry meet Lavey and Bellaghy play Loup.
2014 All-Ireland finalists Slaughtneil meet Ballinascreen on Tuesday.
Armagh senior championship
Crossmaglen Rangers will meet Maghery in the county semi finals after the weekend’s draw while the other last four clash will see Armagh Harps meet Ballymacnabb.
Harps were too strong for Killeavy on Saturday night as they secured a 0-21 to 1-9 win.
Wexford senior football championship
There will be new champions in Wexford after St Anne’s lost to St James on Saturday night by 1-12 to 0-12.
St Martins will now be the favourites to claim the title next month after a 0-17 to 0-3 win over Adamstown but the clash of Shelmaliers and Starlights needed extra time to find a winner.
Eventually, a Craig McCabe goal proved the difference as Shels held on for a 1-19 to 2-14 win.
The last quarter-final saw Castletown beat Fethard by 1-9 to 1-8.
Fermanagh senior championship
Roslea will meet Derrygonnelly in the county football final next month after seeing off the challenge of Erne Gaels on Friday by  2-12 to 0-8.
Kildare senior football championship
There is a cracking semi-final to look forward to in Kildare as Celbridge got the better of Carbury by 0-13 to 0-7 to set up a clash with Sarsfields in the last four.
Naas slumped to a 1-11 to 0-10 loss to Athy who will play Johnstownbridge in the other semi.
Laois senior football championshipÂ
Emo are into the last four of the championship after a 2-10 to 1-8 win over St Joseph’s while there is a replay awaiting The Heath and Arles-Kilcrusie after they shared the spoils at 1-11 apiece.
Champions Arles-Kileen are also in the last four after a 3-10 to 1-11 win over Graiguecullen while Monday night sees Portlaoise face Mountmellick in the final quarter-final.
