Play on.
A bit of snow never stopped anyone. Or flooding.
It didn’t stop the under-21 B football final in Cork anyway. Kiskeam and Dromtariffe were forced to play out their decider in winter conditions as the heavens opened and dropped the thickest snow atop of Ballydesmond.

Kiskeam held on to win 1-5 to 0-7 and it’s no wonder the scoring was so low with one glance at the pictures from the game.
Imagine playing in goals in this.

Eventually, the snow cleared.
The white frost lifted from the grass and it was replaced with water and more water and even more water again as the entire half of the pitch became submerged in floods on Sunday morning.
What do they expect? It is April after all.
