Twitter is a fantastic way for you to get upto the minute updates on sport happening pretty much anywhere in the world. But there is only so much you can convey in 140 characters. Unless you use your imagination a litte and get creative like this messer did today for a third level camogie game.
St Mary’s University college were in Fr Meachair Cup action today against GMIT in DCU, and whoever is in charge of the Twitter decided to have a little fun with their updates. Not content with keeping their followers in touch with the score,they also added some brilliant colourful descriptions of some of the action on the field and the players involved.
The game was a bit one sided so we imagine they decided to flex their fingers to entertain as well as inform as the tweets began quite normal but then just took off in a totally bizarre direction:
