Diarmuid Connolly has accepted his 12-week ban.
The talismanic Dublin forward will not appeal the punishment proposed by the Central Controls and Competition Committee (CCCC) earlier this week.
It means that the reigning All-Ireland champions will be without the St Vincent’s man until the All-Ireland semi-finals at the earliest – if Dublin progress as Leinster champions.

Connolly has accepted the charge of a “minor interference” with an official, which carries a minimum 12-week suspension. Tipperary goalkeeper Evan Comerford and Armagh manager Kieran McGeeney are currently serving bans for the same offence.
Connolly lightly pushed linesman Ciarán Branagan during Dublin’s feisty Leinster quarter-final win over Carlow last Saturday in Portlaoise.
The All-Star’s ban will expire at midnight, before the second All-Ireland football semi-final on 27 August.
