He’ll be a big loss to the Lilywhites.
Kildare centre-forward Paul Cribbin has called time on his senior football career.
The 32-year-old first emerged at county senior stage in 2013 as part of a Kildare U21 side that went on to claim the Leinster title.
Injuries hampered Cribbin’s involvement in recent years but he reached the milestone of 100 games in the Lilywhite jersey in last season’s Leinster SFC quarter-final win over Wicklow.
He earned an All-Star nomination in 2018 for his performances in Kildare’s run to the inaugural Super 8s.
Cribbin spent two years with AFL club Collingwood, one of a quartet of Kildare players who were on the books of AFL clubs in the first part of the last decade.
He also played international rules for Ireland in 2015 and was an Allstar nominee in 2018.

“A standout player, Paul was known for his power runs, scoring ability and unwavering dedication to the Lilywhite jersey, with over 100 appearances in League and Championship.
“Over the years, Paul represented his county with tremendous pride, making significant contributions on the field while being a role model off it.”
Cribbin himself said: “It’s been the honour of my life to represent Kildare. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along this journey. Up the Lilies!”
