If they can’t wear white, they won’t be wearing any colour.
Kildare’s message is strong.
The Lilywhites take on Waterford in Sunday’s All-Ireland intermediate camogie final but they won’t be permitted to wear their home geansaís for the occasion.
Rather than go for an away number for the decider, they’ve taken a nice stance by refusing to pick another colour. So they’ll be wearing black.
And, hey, the results are amazing.
The new jersey that Kildare will wear for the final is a gorgeous piece of knitwear and we’re all wondering where we can pick one up ourselves.
