Westmeath may be gone from the Championship, but their star man John Heslin is still making waves.
It wasn’t a good year for The Lake County, as they received a hammering to Dublin in Leinster, and were then dumped out of the Championship in the qualifiers by Armagh.
Their full forward, who could easily have become a soccer star and had trials with derby, made a young Westmeath fan’s day during the week.
Heslin looked to have had great craic with young Shane and his friends on the bouncy castle and throughout the party.
The St Loman’s club man, who also had a spell Down Under at an Aussie Rules club, was dressed to the nines and looked to have been the life and soul of the party.
I was invited to Shane's birthday this eve and couldn't say no. Not long ago when the county lads were my idols! What the GAA is all about pic.twitter.com/qW7xRPFIaa

Shane will remember the day for the rest of his life. Well done to Heslin, for showing the power that GAA players have all over Ireland.
It’s a big change from the farming that occuppies the majority of the 25-year-old’s time.
No better profession on days like today! Inspector out with the potential hay this evening #farming #agriculture pic.twitter.com/dWwKLpCD30
