Tipperary will always be the last ever under-21 All-Ireland champions but Cork’s individuals rule the roost.
Four counties have been recognised in the under-21 team of the year for 2018 with Galway and Wexford players joining Tipp and the Rebels on the All-Star 15.
Six Cork players make the cut: goalkeeper Ger Collins, Niall O’Leary and Billy Hennessy, the precocious Mark Coleman takes up a midfield slot whilst Robbie O’Flynn and the deadly Tim O’Mahony occupy positions in the forward line.
For Tipperary, only Jake Morris wins a spot in the front six, Ger Browne joins Coleman in the middle and Killian O’Dwyer, Brian McGrath and Robert Byrne are all honoured in defence.
Four guys have also been highlighted as player of the year nominees.
Galway wing back Fintan Burke joins Tipp’s Jake Morris and Ger Browne alongside Mark Coleman in the nominations list.
