After months of nothing but international football — and pre-season friendlies — to keep the nation's football watching public from boredom, the Premier League finally returns to stadiums and screens this weekend.
The 2026/27 edition looks likely to be more unpredictable than ever, with almost every major club beginning the campaign with a different manager to the one they started with last season.
The only outliers to that rule are defending champions Arsenal, and Mikel Arteta, who now commences his seventh season at the Emirates, making him the league's longest serving gaffer.
It is Arteta's champions who will get the new season underway on Friday night, against newly promoted Coventry under Frank Lampard.
Over the rest of the weekend, Man United face Hull City, Man City face Bournemouth, all before the gameweek's most exciting matchup between Newcastle and Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
We'll be there throughout it all, ready to share every viral moment.
