If you ever wanted to explain to someone what the GAA was, just show them these shots.
Sky Sports were airing the All-Ireland qualifier between Cork and Wexford this evening and, as per usual, it had some of its non-Irish spectators dumbfounded.
We’re proud of our games here so when Sky do broadcast them, we want to make sure that they’re as loved as they should be. We rarely have doubts about it though and this first tweet of the evening showed just that confidence.

And the announcer has now asked for the pitch to be cleared for the second half. There is something wondrous about this. Only in the GAA

We hope the big man was impressed.
