This isn’t for the faint-hearted.
Evan Regan posted a brave message on Twitter after he was stretchered off in Killarney yesterday.
Mayo beat Kerry in the home of the All-Ireland champions but Regan’s horrendous fall from the sky almost marred the victory when he landed on his head and required medical attention.
Last night, the Westerners’ attacker was being assessed for a suspected broken clavicle and suspected concussion after he went up for a high ball but flipped mid-air and landed nastily head first on the ground.
But Regan since tweeted that it wasn’t as bad as it looked and that he hoped he wouldn’t be out for too long.
Thanks for all the kind messages, not as bad as it looked.Huge thanks to all medics today and top class attention.Much appreciated.@MayoGAA
