Their training grounds in Thurles will now be named Coolmore Morris Park.
The iconic Coolmore Stud, which is located in the town of Fethard, County Tipperary, has bought the naming rights to the county’s GAA training centre in Thurles.
As part of the big money deal, the world’s largest breeding operation of thoroughbred racehorses will also become the main sponsor of Tipperary GAA’s new mobile app.
The new app has been designed to streamline communication, provide regular updates, and improve engagement for supporters, players, and members of the Tipperary GAA community.
The partnership means that the centre will be named Coolmore Morris Park going forward.
The news was announced in The Nenagh Guardian, and included a statement from Coolmore Stud’s Maurice Moloney.
“We are thrilled to embark on this collaboration and look forward to playing an active role in supporting the development of Tipperary’s young hurlers and footballers as they grow and excel in the years to come.”
Tipperary GAA CEO Murtagh Brennan welcomed the new partnership and said: “Tipperary GAA is really proud to announce this landmark partnership with Coolmore Stud, a globally recognized leader in the equine industry.
“Coolmore’s commitment to supporting future generations of young Tipperary GAA players aligns perfectly with our vision for the continued development and success of our young players.”
He continued: “Partnering with such an esteemed and winning brand marks a significant step forward for Tipperary GAA. We are excited about the opportunities this collaboration will create, and we look forward to building a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship that will positively impact the growth of GAA in the county for years to come.”

Coolmore Stud is currently owned and run by the Magnier family, and has been associated with a long sequence of top-class stallions since the 1850s.
Coolmore was once home to champion sires Sadler’s Wells, Danehill, and Galileo.
Fans of the Tipperary hurling, gaelic football and camogie teams will be hoping the new association with the championship-winning stud will inspire some success on the pitch after several disappointing seasons.
