Clare, Cork and Offaly county finals among the highlights of a monster weekend of GAA action

Wexford county senior football final

St James’ take their place in a very first county senior football decider against St Martins at Innovate Wexford Park at 4pm on Saturday. St Martins are also in the county hurling final later this month and will be favourites to lift the title come Saturday afternoon.

Cork county senior football final

It just wouldn’t be a Cork senior football final without Nemo Rangers and they go in search of yet another Cork title this Sunday as they face Castlehaven in Pairc Ui Rinn.

The match is a repeat of the 2013 decider between the sides which Castlehaven edged before losing to Dr Crokes in the Munster series.
Throw in is at the later time of 5pm as the Cork county board take notice of the Ireland rugby game kicking off at 1pm.

Roscommon county senior football final.
The most successful side in the county, Clann na nGael, take on the young pretenders Padriag Pearses on Sunday at 4.30 in Dr Hyde Park.

The 19-time champions won their last title in 1996, while Padraig Pearses are still looking for a first ever crown.

Donegal county senior football final
Jim McGuinness is sure to be an interested spectator in Ballybofey on Sunday as St Eunans face Naomh Conaill for 2015 honours at 4pm.

The champions St Eunans will be looking to make it two-in-a-row, while the game is a repeat of the 2012 decider which ended with Naomh Conaill losing by 0-12 to 0-9.

Laois county senior football final
Zach Tuohy is set to line out for Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon as the Midlands side look to complete nine-in-a-row of titles in O’Moore Park at 5.15.

Emo’s last championship win came in 1972, and their last final appearance was a 2006 loss to Sunday’s opponents.

Kildare county senior football final.
Newbridge hosts this year’s contest between Athy and Sarsfields at 4pm on Sunday.

Athy’s last title was in 2011 and the followng year Sars won their last county senior crown so Sunday is expected to be a tight and tense affair.

Sars have lost the last two finals and will be desperate to avoid once again being a footnote on an October Sunday.

Clare county senior football final
A real footballing heartland affair on Sunday as Cooraclare, once a superpower in the county, take on Miltown St Josephs in Cusack Park at 4pm.

Limerick county senior football final
Kilmallock at 4pm is the venue and time for Sunday’s meeting of Newcastle-West and former Munster club champions Dromcollogher Broadford.

Tipperary county senior football final
Across the border in the Premier County, Semple stadium will stage the meeting of Clonmel Commercials and Moyle Rovers at 4.30pm.

Moyle lost the 2011 final while Clonmel’s last success was in 2012.

Antrim county senior football final
Cargin take on Lámh dearg in Ahoghill at 4pm on Sunday.

Monaghan county senior football final

Both Scotstown and Monaghan  Harps have earned their chance at county glory with the big names of Clontibret and Castleblaney out of the reckoning. Scotstown are looking for a 16th title in all, while the Harps last success came in 1923.

Throw in at Clones is 3pm.

Carlow county senior hurling final
One-time All-Ireland club finalists Mt Leinster Rangers face the defending champions St Mullins on Sunday in Netwatch Cullen Park at 4pm.

The Rangers semi final against Myshall was marred by some ugly scenes with five players in total seeing red at the end of the game, and the Carlow county board will be hoping the final is a much tamer affair.

Offaly county senior hurling final
Former Leinster champions Coolderry go in search of their 30th county title on Sunday as they face St Rynagh’s in O’Connor Park at 4pm.

Waterford county senior hurling final
Derek McGrath will be sure to be among the crowd in Walsh Park on Sunday as Ballygunner face Tallow at 4pm.

The champions will be looking to add to their tally of 13 titles while for Tallow it’s a chance to win their first since 1985. Throw in is at 4PM.

Westmeath county senior hurling final
Clonkill take on Raharney in Cusack Park at 3.30.

Roscommon SHC final replay
Four Roads will meet old rivals Padraig Pearses in Dr Hyde Park on Saturday at 4pm
