It would be a great country if you could put a roof on it.
Cavan and Meath’s third round Allianz League clash has been postponed. The game, which was scheduled to take place at 7.00 on Saturday evening in Kingspan Breffni Park has fallen victim to the heavy afternoon rainfall.
The most eagerly anticipated Division 2 clash of the weekend was set to be broadcast live on eir sport, and these developments will be a kick in the teeth for those who were looking forward to an exciting game of football.

Even more so, it will be a sickening blow for the player’s involved, the supporters who had set off on their journey to the Cavan county grounds, but alas, there’s nothing we can do about the weather.
The pitch looks unplayable, alright.
