Carla Rowe has revealed fans on the street are even re-enacting her famous back-heel goal in Dublin's All-Ireland semi-final win over Galway.
Rowe's Dublin are preparing to meet Meath in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC Ladies final at Croke Park, following the innovative piece of skill she showed a fortnight ago.
Dublin are looking to get their crown back having won the All-Ireland for four straight years between 2017 and 2020, and again in 2023, while Meath were champions in 2021 and 2022.
"Like in the moment I didn't think 'back heel this', but it just instinctually happened." Rowe said of her stunning goal.
"I did remember thinking the keeper is going to get across here if I pick this up. So it was just the alternative was the ball was behind me, go for a back heel, and yeah, thank God it went in and I made a good connection.
"I think there there little moments that happen throughout sport and life and you have to just enjoy them. So yeah, I'm getting a good slagging a home.
"I'd be walking down the street in Naul, and you'd know it's a small community, people walking by me just doing back-heels. So it's a good laugh."
Asked if she had played soccer in school, Rowe said: "I played in secondary school. Loretta Balbriggan and I played a bit of soccer with the school, but that was it really.
"I enjoyed it. I think soccer skills bring on Gaelic skills as well. So I'd always be be open to tipping around a little bit in the dressing room along the ground and stuff.
Tickets for All-Ireland final day on August 3 are available here.
All LGFA games will be shown live on TG4.
