11 Dublin players and eight Kerry men nominated for a football All-Star

No major shocks

Conan Doherty

Stephen Cluxton, Paul Flynn, Denis Bastick, and Dean Rock… in case you’re wondering.

Those are the only starting players of the Dublin team omitted from the GAA/GPA All-Star football nominations.

It’s All-Star season and, as usual, they’re dominated by the semi final outfits. 11 Dubliners, eight Kerry men, seven Tyrone and six Mayo.

Only four players are nominated from Ulster champions, Monaghan, whilst Kieran Martin and Donie Kingston are the only two names from teams who failed to reach the quarters.

All six of the Dublin backs made the list but, now, the real decisions will be made as to who will win the final awards.
