Relationship is "not good"

Manchester United fans, we wouldn’t be rushing to get Ibrahimovic on the back of our jersey just yet.

Some sources claimed that the Paris Saint-Germain forward was the “secret striker” that Louis van Gaal had alluded to in interviews but it doesn’t look like the Swedish captain will be plying his trade at Old Trafford next season.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Ibrahimovic said that his relationship with the current United manager is “not good.”

“He was a director in Ajax, and the way he is working is not the way I work.”

A PORTRAIT OF LOUIS VAN GAAL

You’d be excused for getting hopeful about Ibrahimovic’s claims that his professionalism overrides any personal issues he may have with anyone but his penchant for controversy means that it may not be the best partnership.

“At the end, I think he is professional and I am professional. Whoever I work with, I never had this kind of problems, because at the end I need to do my job, he needs to do his job,” Ibrahimovic added. “And I think a lot of fights would happen, but that’s something I like.”
