Who’s staying and who’s going come January?

This bloody transfer window can't open fast enough

Darragh Murphy

We say we’ve got transfer goss; You say you don’t give a toss.

We say it’s Ronaldo, Are you sure?; You say G’wan so tell me more.

Remember when Angel di Maria became Manchester United’s stellar signing this summer? Well he could be straight back out the Old Trafford door.

According to reports in France, Louis van Gaal & Co. are willing to offload the Argentinian to a welcoming PSG in order to generate the funds to make a SUPER stellar bid for either Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale(Daily Express)

Manchester United v Everton - Premier League

United are also looking to sure up their back four with the signing of AC Milan centre-back Adil Rami in January.

Louis van Gaal is just one more defensive injury away from slipping in at full-back himself and his options for experience in the centre are virtually non-existent.

Reports in Italy have suggested that Filippo Inzaghi will be looking to cash in on the 28-year-old in January. (Daily Express)

AC Milan v Atalanta BC - Serie A

Chelsea are recruiting possible replacements for John Terry with Ipswich’s Tyrone Mings being the front-runner.

Jose Mourinho has his scouts monitoring the 21-year-old closely as the Stamford Bridge boss looks to prepare for the retirement of John Terry which is not too many years away, if we’re lucky anyway.

Mings has primarily played at left-back but Mourinho sees him as having the talent to be able transfer to the centre of defence. (Daily Mirror)

Cardiff City v Ipswich Town - Sky Bet Championship

Manchester City are set to flex their financial muscles in their pursuit of Colombian ace Juan Cuadrado.

Fiorentina have slapped a €35million release clause on the 26-year-old winger.

Despite having just signed a new deal with the club, Cuadrado is seemingly fed-up at La Viola and would welcome a switch. (Daily Express)

Arsenal could be set to offer Petr Cech a lifeline from his freeze-out at Chelsea with a transfer offer of around €8.75m in January.

The Czech goalkeeper has lost his place between the sticks at Stamford Bridge since Thibaut Courtois returned from his Atletico Madrid loan.

The domino effect will just continue to roll though and we’re very worried about Wojciech Szczesny’s position in all of this. (The Daily Star)

Hull City v Chelsea - Premier League

Lionel Messi‘s father has ruled out a move away from Barcelona for the little magician. (Never really going to happen, was it?)

Messi has been linked with a switch to the Premier League but Jorge Messi was quoted yesterday as saying: ‘The thought is to stay here (in Barcelona).

“But as people read between the lines there is exaggeration.”

“It’s clear that if tomorrow the club says to you ‘we have this offer, we want to sell you’, it would have to be studied. Although right now it is not even on the agenda.” (Daily Mail)
