The Hammers are heading too the Europa League next season.

Uefa recently announced that the Netherlands, England and Republic of Ireland received an extra place in the first qualifying round of the Europa League for having the best disciplinary records of the top leagues in Europe.

West Ham have directly benefited from this after being granted a place in next season’s Europa League. Although they ended the season in 12th place in the League, they topped the Premiership’s Fair Play table which means they have secured a spot in a Europa League qualifier on July 2nd.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans will be hoping Arsenal triumph over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final. Should the Gunners win, Liverpool will go straight into the group stages and their first European match won’t take place until September 17th.

However, if Aston Villa get the upset victory, they will go straight into the group stages and Liverpool will have instead be drawn into the third qualifying round of the tournament on July 30.
