We like Jon Walters as much as the next guy.
We can’t believe Stoke were willing to offload him on Deadline Day, he’s one of the most important players on the Ireland team and he’s certainly a bit of craic as well.
But when it comes to picking a dream team, call us old-fashioned, but we prefer to have the best players in the world.
Yes, Jon Walters has proven it. He can do it on a wet Tuesday night at the Britannia and he can play up top, out wide and win any sort of ball.
We also know another man who can do that. And he goes by the name of Cristiano.
Stoke City had a takeover of their Twitter account today and Ryan Shawcross faced the firing line.
He didn’t find it too tough though. Because, for him, the Shawcross and Ronaldo debate is simple.
