Is this the end of the saga? It would seem that way as a team-mate has tweeted that Neymar will stay at Barcelona.
Sunday night Gerard Pique posted a photo on Twitter with the Brazilian star accompanied by the caption, “Se queda”, which translates to “He stays”.
Throughout the saga, reports from the Spanish press have clearly stated that Neymar will be staying put at the Nou Camp, despite supposedly being offered €500,000 a week in what would be a world-record deal.
Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has also done his best to quash any rumours by claiming publicly that Neymar is not for sale, when he told the media that, “he is not on the market”.

But Pique’s photo on Sunday may just have put this particular story to bed. The defender is hugely respected in the club and is pipped to be the club president when he decides to hang up the boots.
So it would appear that the €200 million move is off for at least another season and Neymar will stay at Barcelona.
