Do you reckon Jose Mourinho said “yoink” as he snatched Pedro from under the noses of Manchester United?
Everyone had Pedro as good as a United player earlier this week when it was suggested that personal terms between club and player were agreed upon but along came wily ol’ Roman Abramovich.
Yesterday it emerged that the Spaniard was to complete a medical with the Premier League champions and official confirmation arrived this afternoon that Pedro is officially a Chelsea player.

It’s believed that the 28-year-old has been acquired for €27 million with a further €3 million going to Barcelona depending on Pedro’s performances.
United fans will be devastated at the club’s failure to secure another top transfer target but it’s some smart business from the Blues, not only as it strengthens their starting XI but it also denies a potential title rival an exceptional player.
Touche Chelsea, touche.
