Mohamed Salah has been referred to the police by Liverpool Football Club
The forward, Liverpool’s Player of the Season and the Premier League Golden Boot winner last season, has been filmed by fans apparently using his mobile phone whilst driving.
Merseyside police have confirmed that they have received reports of the video and have passed it on to the relevant department.
A spokesperson for the football club has revealed that, after discussing the incident with the player, they then alerted the police as well.
