The Portland Trailblazers paid tribute to a supporter that passed away when cheering on her favourite side against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Trailblazers laid a single red rose on Sandra Zickefoose’s season ticket seat at the Moda Centre ahead of their NBA encounter with the Denver Nuggets. Zickefoose, aged 67, collapsed during her team’s tussle with Dallas and required CPR. She was then rushed to Emanuel Hospital where her passing was later confirmed.

As reported by SB Nation, LaMarcus Aldridge was one of several Trailblazers that warmed up, before his side’s victory, in a t-shirt honouring ‘Sandy’ Zickefoose.
