Hindsight is not such a great thing for LeBron.
Just about 24 hours ago, LeBron James was recording his first triple-double since his return to Cleveland with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in the Cavaliers’ 118-111 victory over New Orleans Pelicans last night.
Or so we thought. Today, the NBA removed a rebound and an assist from James’ game which strips the legend of his 38th career triple double.
With 3:27 remaining in the third quarter last night, James was wrongly credited with a Kyrie Irving layup and, in the fourth quarter, he was awarded a rebound that should have gone to Mike Miller.
That means that James’ game finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.
Poor LeBron, we’d have let you off.
