This was a wonderful moment – remembering an old warrior before battle commenced.
Munster are taking on French Top 14 side Racing 92 at Stade Yves du Manoir in a vital Champions Cup pool game this afternoon.
The match is tinged in sadness as the original fixture was postponed back in October after the tragic passing of Munster head-coach Anthony Foley.
Before the game, Racing players – and their defence coach Ronan O’Gara – came together to don red ‘A.Foley 8’ t-shirts for their warm-up.

It was agreed between both sides that there would be a minutes’ applause before kick-off and it was remarkably and rousingly observed.
O’Gara was joined for the applause by fellow Racing coach Laurent Labit.
Emotional viewing.
